Identification and Appearance
Length: 5 - 6 mm. Black head, black pronotum with brown margins and brown elytra but with pale margins, shoulders and suture line. Antennae are black but with a pale first segment and he legs are a pale yellow. Living at the margins of ponds, and other standing water, often amongst vegetation. Widespread throughout England at least, more scattered elsewhere in Britain. No additional images available for this species.
