This policy covers insectlibrary.com and information handled by the InsectLibrary publisher for ebook sales and support. Gumroad operates the checkout and download service under its own privacy policy.

2. Information involved

• Browsing: requests to the website include technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested page, and time. Hosting and security providers may process this information to deliver and protect the site. Search terms you submit are sent to our search service and may appear in request logs.
• Orders: Gumroad collects the information needed for checkout, payment, receipts, and delivery. We may receive purchaser email, name if provided, purchased product, transaction status, and order details through Gumroad. InsectLibrary does not collect payment-card details directly on this website.
• Support: if you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your email, message, and order reference.

3. How information is used

We use information to operate and secure the website, fulfill purchases, resolve download problems, respond to requests, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, these activities rely on performing a purchase contract, legitimate interests in operating a secure service, or legal obligations. For purchase support, reply to your Gumroad receipt email with your order details. For privacy, terms, or other questions, use the publisher contact on our Gumroad product page. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details, or sensitive health information.
