1. Using InsectLibrary

These terms cover the InsectLibrary website and our digital products. Use the website lawfully and review these terms before purchasing. Purchases must be made by someone legally able to enter into the transaction, or with a parent or guardian’s authorization.

2. Educational content

Our directory, guides, and ebooks provide general educational information. Species records vary in completeness and may contain errors. Photographs and descriptions alone may not establish an identification. Content is not a substitute for professional medical, veterinary, or pest-management advice. Children’s activities require appropriate adult supervision. Our Editorial Policy explains our approach to sources and corrections.

3. Digital purchases and delivery

The ebook bundle consists of downloadable PDF files, not printed books. Review the product description, previews, language, and device requirements before paying. A compatible PDF reader is required.

Checkout, payment, receipts, and download access are provided through Gumroad. Its Terms of Service also apply to transactions on its platform. Confirm the total price, currency, and any taxes shown at checkout before paying. Offers are subject to any stated end date.

Use the purchase email and download link supplied by Gumroad. If access fails, contact us with your order details so we can help resolve it.

4. Ebook license

Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read the ebooks and print activity or coloring pages for use within your household. You may keep personal backup copies. Purchase does not transfer copyright.

You may not resell, publicly upload, distribute, sublicense, or share the ebook files outside your household. Contact us for permission before classroom-wide distribution, commercial use, or other uses beyond this license. Rights granted by law and any separate licenses accompanying third-party material remain unaffected.

5. Refunds

Digital purchases are generally final and non-refundable for change of mind. Exceptions for applicable law, Gumroad rules, and product or delivery issues are explained in our Refund Policy. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

6. Website content and acceptable use

Respect the copyright and license terms attached to text, photographs, and other material. Third-party contributors retain their rights. Do not interfere with site security, attempt unauthorized access, overload the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.

7. Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide useful, accurate content but cannot promise uninterrupted website access or error-free information. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by misuse of the content or events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing here excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Privacy, changes, and questions

See our Privacy Policy for information about data handling. Updated terms will be posted with a revised date. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights attached to an earlier purchase without a lawful basis. Applicable mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.

For purchase support, reply to your Gumroad receipt email with your order details. For privacy, terms, or other questions, use the publisher contact on our Gumroad product page. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details, or sensitive health information.
