Identification and Appearance
Variation: In most specimens the postmedian fascia is wide but often reduced or absent in larger individuals most closely resembles L. ornata , from which can be distinguished by complete basal ridge and by the shape of the pale apical marking of the elytra ( L. insulata & L. subrugosa have a similarly shaped pale apical spot but are allopatric to L. fuscata )
