Gordon's figures this singular spmn, without a det. label, sits in Hyperaspis triangulum Casey, 1899 unit tray in the USNM/NMNH. the spots positionally, but not proportionally, are match for Gordon's H. triangulum figure, except for the extra pair of basal elytral spots. Type Locality: Benson, Cochise Co., AZ
