Identification and Appearance
A small spider, male: 1.9-2.5 mm, female: 1.8-2.6 mm. It has a brown/blackish abdomen and blackish head. Tibial spines: 2-2-2-1 TmIV: No TmI: 0.40-0.50 Confirmation requires examination of genitals of mature specimens. Adults can be found all through the year, with peak numbers in summer. The species is widespread in most of Britain, possibly becoming more scattered in the north.
