Identification and Appearance
remarkable for the almost entire absence of the usual striae and foveae: the tibia are straight in both sexes. The elytra of the male are not wider than the thorax; those of the female are about one third wider. Det. J. C. Abbott, 1993 Type Locality: Texas; Lieut. Haldeman and Mr. Lindheimer.
