The larvae feed inside the seedheads of Tansy or Sneezewort and pupate inside the stem. A local species distributed in parts of south-east England, with isolated pockets occurring further north and west. In the Butterfly Conservation's Microlepidoptera Report 2011 this species was classified as Nationally Scarce B.
