Identification and Appearance
E. hyalinus in North America is restricted to the Pacific coast. It is much more widespread in Europe and most of its relatives seem to be European, so I strongly suspect it was introduced from Europe. --E.L. Mockford, pers.comm. to =v=, 6.ii.2013
